A little bit of Petography!

My friend, Amy, is opening her own business - Pet Friends Forever Daycare and Boarding, a daycare and boarding facility for dogs and cats.  She's very excited about her new venture, and I am very excited for her!  We already have plans for pet photos with Santa in December (I will post about that later).  She has also asked me to help decorate her space with photos of pets!  I was more than happy to help - I LOVE PETS!!  Amy will also be allowing me to advertise my own business in hers!! Below are some of the pictures we will hopefully be using in her space.  Oh and don't forget to check out PFF for your next daycare/boarding needs!!

A day at the fair

This trip to the Appalachian fair was from late August - I am a little behind in posting!  It was Matthew's first trip to the fair and I think the slide was a big hit!

We saw lots of cute animals, but Matthew didn't want to touch any of them on his own!

There is this seemingly cute duck pond.  The ducks are herded up a ramp and then do a free fall down a slide the other side back into the pond.

It doesn't take long to figure out that it is kind of cruel.  The poor little ducks have no desire to go down the slide and we saw a few that got caught up on the top.

Matthew intently watching the ducks.

The slide!  I am pretty sure he loved it!!!

The Gragg Family Cabin Sneak Peak

It was a rare occasion yesterday with Rob actually being off on a Saturday.  The Gragg's were hanging out at their cabin in Wolf Laurel, NC.  After leaving my first photo shoot, I headed to North Carolina only to find the weather slowly deteriorating.  A heavy fog was settling in and bringing with it a misty rain.  By the time I arrived their cabin was engulfed in fog and the expansive, beautiful view of being 5,000+ feet up was just a sea of white.  But we made due and took photos in and around their cabin.  The cabin has so much charm it was a perfect setting all on its own.

Fall Fun at Fender's Farm

This weekend I hung out with my favorite 2 year-old and tried to keep up with him to get some photos!  We visited Fender's Farm in Jonesborough looking for fall fun!  We didn't do the corn maze, but the tractors, corn field, animals and pumpkin patch offered fun shots.

Matthew was enthralled with the tractors - anytime one went by his world stopped!

He wanted no parts of sitting still for pictures - this one was taken as mom dashed out of the way and before he got down!

I'm partial to this photo because I am in love with donkeys!  This guy even let out a nice bray for us!

The "pumpkin patch" left a little to be desired, but it still had a few nice pumpkins!

"Cheeeeeeesssseeeee!!"
